Though surfing big waves is not my passion. I deeply respect guys who charge, especially considering the punishment they receive when the don't make it.

Much respect due. 6-8 feet was always my maximum. waves can be too powerful. The thought of double or triple over makes me almost soil myself.
holy crap. that is insane. i am still amazed at how they come through alive. the sheer force would be enough to tear ships apart, let alone a human body!

I got worked over in 6' waves down at Hunington... I can't imagine what these would do to a guy.
By the way was that TC in the first helicopter?
This is unrelated to surfing, but I couldn't resist; this craigslist ad reminded me of you and a certain handspread.
hahahaha. Love it! Plays like butter!!
Can't get enough Butter!
TC?
Curren?
Oh Jon I forgot how young you are. TC was Magnum PI's buddy that flew a helicopter that looks exactly like that first one. It's an 80's thing.
Crap man. I was thinking Curren. Magun PI never even crossed my mind, nor has it in the past 9 years.
Thank you for that.
